What separates SeaBlend from other granular products on the market is the composition of the product. SeaBlend offers a unique and well rounded blend of nitrogen sources to your grass. Half of the nitrogen comes from synthetic sources such as methylene urea and magnesium sulfate while the other half of the nitrogen comes from natural sources such as crab meal, marine shells and kelp meal. We use a binder that includes our proprietary seaweed extract. Having an unconventional blend leads to a couple of benefits for home lawn users. First, having a combination of different nitrogen sources leads to a more predictable release of elements once applied. SeaBlend is able to offer grass nitrogen sources with immediate nutrient availability, while also containing sources that have properties of longer term availability. This leads to more uniform grass growth which means less mowing.  Additionally, we believe that giving the plant variety of nitrogen sources rather than few leads to happier and healthier grass, which is ultimately a stronger grass.

Through a number of trials done at leading research universities SeaBlend has been shown to improve microbial activity and soil structure. This is another way that this product can help improve the overall health of your grass. SeaBlend has also been shown in trials to enhance turf color, density and quality.
